Free Week 15 NFL Picks
Another winning weekend for yours truly with my expert and free NFL picks, so can I do it again with my week 15 NFL picks? You know I can! Last weekend I went 4-2, that's both straight up and against the spread, and I really thought it would be 5-1 until Tony Romo literally threw the game away against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He'll get his chance to redeem himself this weekend against the New York Giants, but will he be able to pull it off? My week 15 NFL picks will enlighten us!
Free Week 15 NFL Picks
Tennessee Titans @ Houston Texans - Titans favored by 3
Now, I don't usually do this with my expert NFL picks, but I felt I had to this time. The Titans are only 3 point favorites against the Texans? Seriously? This is a game where you should not only take the Titans straight up, but you should take the Titans against the spread. The Titans will crush this spread, I guarantee it. The Texans beating the Packers really isn't that great of an accomplishment, and the Titans are still playing in top form.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Atlanta Falcons - Falcons favored by 2.5
The NFC South has been an easy book to read this year in the NFL. The home team wins, almost every single time. So why do I keep picking against the home team? I don't have any good explanation besides that sometimes trends don't hold up, and I like to take the road less traveled. The Buccaneers, coming off a loss to the Panthers, could find themselves outside of the playoffs if they lost a second straight game. I don't think they are going to let that happen. And while the Falcons are in the same boat, the Buccaneers have the better defense and the more experienced players. Bucs with an upset on the road.
Minnesota Vikings @ Arizona Cardinals - Cardinals favored by 3
In my week 15 NFL power rankings I said that in order to beat the Cardinals, you have to be able to light up the scoreboard just like they do. And while the Vikings are led by the juggernaut that is Adrian Peterson, the Cardinals have many more weapons in the passing game. Some think the Cardinals will be too busy celebrating their division win to be focused, but I think it's just more motivation for the team to win a big game, especially at home. The crowd will be going crazy in this one, supporting the gasp, division winning Arizona Cardinals as they beat the spread at home.
All of these point spreads are from the Bodog Sportsbook. Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens - Ravens favored by 1.5
Wow, this is such a great game. Two of the best teams in the NFL, meeting in week 15 for the rights to the division title. I've thought a long time about this and it was hard to settle on who I liked and who I would support here in my free week 15 NFL picks. I've been a fan of both teams all season, and both are at the top of their games right now. So why am I picking the Steelers in an upset on the road? Because I think Ben Roethliserger will outplay Joe Flacco, as his rookie nature is exposed a bit by the ferocious Steelers defense. Can't wait to watch this one!
Denver Broncos @ Carolina Panthers - Panthers favored by 7
This is another point spread that has me scratching my head a little bit. The Denver Broncos have been a bit of a seesaw team, but to be 7 point underdogs seems a little bit much to me. Not only that, but I think the NFC South refuses to be settled easily. After all the swings that division has had, the Panthers can't just cruise on home over the last few weeks. But... they sure can run the ball, and should be able to run all over the Broncos. The Broncos will make it close, I like the Broncos against the spread, which is an all-too-wide 7 point margin, but I'll take the Panthers to win the game at home and attempt to win a number one seed in the NFC.
New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys - Cowboys favored by 3
Everybody is going to side the Cowboys on this game, I can see it now. They will say the Cowboys need the game to get into the playoffs, that they are looking for revenge and will be fired up by Jerry Jones. Except that the Cowboys don't really need this game to make the playoffs, although it would certainly help a great deal. So that's why you came to see my free NFL picks for week 15, because I stand out from the crowd. I think the New York Giants will be determined to get back to their winning ways and remove themselves further from the distraction that is Plaxico Burress. Justin Tuck and Antonio Pierce will cause havoc, as the Giants edge out the Cowboys on the road in an upset.
There you go, another edition of my expert NFL picks for the 2008 season. I haven't had a losing record in my NFL picks in quite some time (and in November I was cruising at about a 80% accuracy with my predictions!), and it isn't going to happen here in week 15 either, not even with all of those tough games I picked. So if you want to win your office pool or your fantasy pick'em, you'll be sure to rely on my free week 15 NFL picks, cheers!

Joe Public: WOW! The Titans are only 3 point favorites against the Texans! The Titans are AWESOME!
Sharp: Good luck with that (smiles).
Yea, get back to me after the games, we’ll see who the “sharp” is.
Well, I was wrong about the Titans game. Definitely not the “sharp” on that game, and I have no problems admitting I was dead wrong.
1-5, WOW!!!
Alas, even my great 80%+ streak had to come to an end at some point. I think it’ll right itself out this weekend.
