Lately I have been tearing it up with my free expert NFL picks. In straight up picks last weekend, I was 6-1 and if not for a blown call in the Steelers game, would have been 5-2 in my picks against the spread. Free Week 12 NFL Picks

New England Patriots @ Miami Dolphins - Dolphins favored by 2

The Dolphins have certainly exceeded expectations this year. But this game has trouble written all over it. The Patriots have got to be fuming over their overtime loss to the Jets last weekend. Meanwhile, the Dolphins are brimming with an overconfidence that's bordering on excessive following a close call at home against the Raiders. Patriots win the divisional game on the road.

Carolina Panthers @ Atlanta Falcons - Falcons favored by 1.5

Do the Atlanta Falcons play at home every weekend? It seems like it these days. Anyway, I correctly picked the Broncos to come into Atlanta and beat the Falcons last weekend. But I think the Panthers are ripe for the picking right now, and the Falcons have an even larger chip on their shoulder to prove a point against a divisional team after the loss to the Broncos. Falcons beat the Panthers at home and cover the small spread.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Baltimore Ravens - Ravens favored by 1.5

In a battle of wounded birds, which team will come out victorious? I think that overtime tie against the Bengals was a real season killer for the Eagles. Now by themselves at the bottom of the NFC East, the playoff hopes of the Eagles are rapidly fading. Meanwhile, a foe both teams know well, the Giants, absolutely embarassed a prideful Ravens defensive unit. I think the Ravens rally their troops for this one, and keep their season alive, as they get to Donovan McNabb early and often. Ravens at home to beat the spread.

Indianapolis Colts @ San Diego Chargers - Chargers favored by 3

The Chargers give Peyton Manning tons of problems. Considering the shape of the Colts' offensive line and the questionable health of not just Manning himself but also his backfield, it seems set up for a Chargers victory. But that's with a guy named Shawne Merriman in the lineup, who of course won't be involved in this game. And that's not considering the circumstances of these two clubs. I don't think the Chargers ever got over the first few weeks of the season, with two heartbreaking, last second losses. And I think the Colts are on a mission to make the playoffs, and this is a game they need to have to get there. Colts in an upset on the road.

Green Bay Packers @ New Orleans Saints - Saints favored by 2.5

I'm a little bit confused on the spread for this game. The Packers are coming off a huge win, and the Saints have been up and down all season. After winning last week, I'd say they are just about due for another loss. Drew Brees has come back to Earth a little bit with his play, and Aaron Rodgers would love to outplay him in a nationally televised game. It's time for some more separation in the NFC, between playoff contenders and teams that don't belong. Right now I think the Packers belong and the Saints don't, Packers on the road, in a win I wouldn't have called an upset.

New York Jets @ Tennessee Titans - Titans favored by 6

Last but not least here, let's talk about the Titans versus the Jets. Titans are favored by 6, but I think the Jets have some things working to their advantage in this match-up. And i'm thinking about more than the karma of formerly being known as the Titans. They have a quarterback in Brett Favre who can lead, both physically and mentally, his team through a tough, slug em out game. They have the confidene of taking out the Patriots last weekend. They have a clever coach, and they are facing a Tennessee team feeling all of that love in the media. So i'm doing what I do best here in my free expert week 12 NFL picks. Not only am I taking the Jets against the spread, but I'm also taking the Jets to beat the Titans on the road, in a huge upset special!

Yea, where else besides in my expert week 12 NFL picks are you going to find that kind of upset?
