Free Week 11 NFL Picks
Another week of free NFL picks done and over with, and another great job done by yours truly. I was 5-2 last weekend both against the spread and straight up with my free NFL picks, and the week before that, I was 5-1 (4-2 against the spread). That sounds like a winning streak, and that's why you can't miss out on my free week 11 NFL picks.
The point spreads for week 11 of the 2008 season are coming from the Bodog Sportsbook.
Free Week 11 NFL Picks
Denver Broncos @ Atlanta Falcons - Falcons favored by 6 points
The Atlanta Falcons have been playing great at home, and are 4-0 so far this season playing in Atlanta. Sporting a 6-3 record all together, Matt Ryan, Michael Turner and crew are making a drive for the postseason. The Denver Broncos have been inconsistent and have just about every running back they started the season with on injured reserve. But Jay Cutler has shown he can carry the load, and I think there's an upset in store as the Falcons adjust to being the big favorite, a role nobody on that team is used to. Broncos on the road, in a big upset, and definitely against the spread, if you must take the Falcons straight up.
Baltimore Ravens @ New York Giants - Giants favored by 7 points
The Ravens have been one of the teams that I have been big on this year. I picked the last week in my free NFL picks, and that turned out alright for them I'd say, trouncing the Texans in Houston. The New York Giants are a major step up in class. But following a divisional game and emotional win over the Eagles this past weekend (where again, I prevailed by picking the Giants), will the G-Men be up to the task? The Giants will win the game at home, with too much on both sides of the ball for Baltimore to contain, but Baltimore will keep it under a touchdown, so take the Ravens against the spread.

Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers - Packers favored by 5
Both of these teams are coming off of tough defeats. The Packers had one ripped away from them by Adrian Peterson in the closing minutes and the Bears gave the Titans a battle before finally caving in late. With Chicago at first in the division at 5-4, and Green Bay in third at 4-5, this is a huge game. The difference is that I feel like the Packers may still be deflated from their loss, while the Bears may be more motivated. I'm going with another upset here and taking the Bears on the road, against the spread and to win.
Dallas Cowboys @ Washington Redskins - Redskins favored by 2.5
The season for the Cowboys will be for all intents and purposes over if the Redskins win at home. Rarely in this series does one team win both match ups, and with the Redskins stealing on in Dallas when Dallas was the hot team, it seems pretty well set up for the Cowboys to return the favor. The Redskins fell victim to the Steelers two Monday's ago at home, and after the bye week and the acquisition of DeAngelo Hall, I still think the team is due for a head check. Cowboys on the road in another upset!
Tennessee Titans @ Jacksonville Jaguars - Titans favored by 3
I'm waiting for the chance to pick against the Titans. And if the season had started and we knew then that the Titans were the rolling team, the Jaguars would seem like a natural to put the streak to rest. But the Jaguars are one of the most disappointing teams across the entire NFL in the 2008 season. I don't see them getting the job done here, in a game many other are tabbing for the Titans first loss. Titans on the road move to 10-0.
Minnesota Vikings @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Buccaneers favored by 4
With the Panthers at 7-2, and the Falcons at 6-3, Tampa Bay simply cannot afford to lose. The Vikings can't necessarily afford to lose, but are in an easier division that would still be winnable sitting at 5-5 should they lose. And can the team recover from their emotional win in order to prepare for a Bucs squad that is coming off their bye week and playing at home? Expect Gus Frerotte to have a terribly tough time as Tampa Bay wins and covers the spread at home.
San Diego Chargers @ Pittsburgh Steelers - Steelers favored by 4
Strike one: San Diego has traveled from London to Kansas City and now is going back East to Pittsburgh. Strike two: San Diego barely escaped from Arrowhead with the win. Strike three: Pittsburgh has lost their last two home games, both against good teams, and both of which they feel they threw away. Strike four: Without Merriman, the Chargers pass rush isn't as good as it can be, and Big Ben should have some time in the pocket. All of that adds up to the Steelers putting on a Tour de Force and making a statement against the Chargers, and scoring a lopsided win at home.
There's my 7 free NFL picks for week 11 of the 2008 season, use them wisely my friends!
